Zeila's POV
I slept for over an hour, and I feel rested and ready to complete my mission.
My little luggage and the clothes I left here have been taken to my quarters by Kristine. I settle on a lightweight sweater and a pair of black pants, which I then throw a cardigan over. I comb through my blonde hair to restore its shine.
There was silence when I got to the main floor. Most likely, everyone had gone to their rooms. But Gerald is waiting there when I exit the door.
"I've been waiting here for you. Come, let's visit the grave of our babies." I don't answer, even though it sounds so personal. Our route to the cemetery was down the path. Gerald's arm is slackly around my waist, and I just decide to allow him for the moment.
