Rylan’s POV

I felt the weight of his words crash over me like a wave. Grayson and Lila—a bond forged in the fires of loyalty and love. It made sense, but we now didn't have time to unpack that realisation. Not when danger lurked beyond the door, and chaos threatened to engulf us.

“Grayson, please!” I urged desperation creeping into my voice. “We can’t just leave you to fight alone!” He could not think so stupidly even if he had acted like a idiot in the past. I could not just walk away and let him suffer whatever fate would come his way. 

Enzo stepped forward, determination etched across his face. “You’re outnumbered, Grayson! We’re stronger together. We can figure this out!”
