Chapter 111. Shopping

~3RD PERSON’S POV~

“P-Pardon? She’s your daughter. I’ve never heard of her before,” Mary said, staring at Gabriella as the warrior wolves brought her into the building.

“Oh, don’t get me wrong. She’s the daughter of a close friend, but she’s like a daughter to me. I brought her here with me to get her some nice clothes too,” Anaya said, then giggled after. Mary stared at her for a moment, then turned back to Gabriella. “She’s gorgeous,” she said softly.

“Hi, sorry about that. The crowd wouldn’t let me get through,” Gabriella said, struggling to walk toward them.

“What’s wrong with your legs?” Mary asked.

“Oh, it’s this dress. I feel like my legs are tied together, so it’s really hard to move,” Gabriella answered.

“Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it, because this is the kind of dress you’ll be wearing henceforth. No more servant clothes and dirty chores for you; from now on, you get to experience what it’s like to be one of the higher-ups,” Anaya s
