Chapter 56

A Visitor in the Palace

Eve’s POV

After dressing, we went for breakfast. After breakfast, I discussed with Maryline on how I wanted the wedding to be. I don’t want those olden boring royal ceremony and all the unnecessary protocols.

I need something vibrant as my age and as the bond between us especially like the one we share when we are in bed. I can’t help but blush anytime I think about it. 

Later in the day, we are strolling in the compound in each other’s arms, still Adamss seems distant. We sit on a bench by the small fountain found in the middle of the compound where Maryline was seated at night a few days ago waiting for me to return to the Palace. 

OMG, what a day. I still remember all that the old woman told me and till now it makes no sense. I feel like sharing it with Adams right now maybe he will better understand but it’s pointless. It’s a long story with no significance. I rather stay quiet and contemplate his cute face.
