Chapter 48

“Mate?” I asked softly.

“I’ve been waiting for you,” he replied. “Come with me.”

I didn’t argue or ask any questions. There was no need. My speculations had been right all along. Alpha Rowan was my third and final fated mate!

“Get her bag,” he snapped at one of the guards who hurried to obey him.

I followed my new Alpha silently as he led me into his palace. The pack was waking up slowly and the palace staff were already going about their morning duties.

Everyone was like a blur to me as I passed them. I didn’t look at them and I didn’t care to recognize anyone just yet. All of my attention was focused on Rowan who had my hand in his and was leading me to his den.

Once inside his suite, he turned to face me. His eyes were burning with desire and his scent seemed to fill the room. Without saying a word, he lowered his lips to mine and kissed me passionately.

It simply felt natural. I felt powerful jolts of electricity running through my veins
