Chapter 88

Eliana’s POV

As soon as the plane landed at Roissy Airport, I felt a mixture of sadness and happiness. Sad because I left my country, and happy because I’d pursue my dreams with the love of my life. As soon as we exited the airport, we found my aunt waiting for us.

“How was your vacation, Eli?” she turned to me. “Hi, Justin! How are you?” she said to Justin this time.

Justin kissed my aunt on the cheek. “The vacation was great, but I have to go now. I’ll just take a cab. Eli, will you be alright?” he asked me.

I nodded and smiled at him so he could leave right away. I didn’t know much about the details of the problem. He brought the box of goodies with him. I bet he’ll give some to his colleagues when they meet tonight.

Aunt drove us back to her house, and Aly was happily telling stories about our trip to Boracay. I also shared how our trip to Puerto Princesa went.

“How long will you stay here?” Aunt asked Aly.

“Just two weeks, Aunt.
