As soon as the car stopped in front of Brenda house, I got out of it and Max also did the same thing, he got out of it and came towards me.

“I hate leaving you here,” he said as he stood in front of me.

“You will just have to tolerate it,” I said giving him a smile.

“Why don’t you just come back home with me?” he said.

“I would like to but I don’t want my mom to see me looking this way, I don’t want her to worry about me and if I’m there, she will certainly know that something is wrong, so staying at Brenda place will certainly give me some time alone,” I said.
