I scanned my neck in front of the mirror, seeing the mark had already faded from my skin as it healed at its own pace. I was still angered by the fact that Alpha forcefully had marked me— then again, it was also my fault that I didn't believe him. Frowning, I leisurely traced it, wondering what a mark may signify.
