Two days had passed and there was still no word on whether Lucas had signed the papers. It seemed the other party didn’t want to make it easy for us. My lawyer advised me to use the precise reason I want to end my relationship with him, which was adultery, and we took the issue to court to help us with the process. They appealed and made a statement that I was the one creating stories because I only want money, but for Pete’s sake! They were trying to turn the story to make him look like he was the victim.
