“Like dogs, we form a ‘knot’ when mating. The flesh at the base of the wolf penis inflates, almost like a balloon, and we stay locked together with our mate until the act is completed. “What else should I know about your pack?”

“Although we mate for life, we tend to be polyamorous. It’s not uncommon for us to engage in sexual activities with other members of the pack, in both human and wolf form. We even have some forms of homosexual play, especially when an alpha is asserting dominance over a beta or lower-ranking wolf.”

“What would my role be in the pack as a human? Would I have to have sex with everyone?”

“No, that’s not necessary. We would like three or four males to mate with you during your fertile period to increase the chances of conception. We would prefer to have some say in the selection process, but we might offer you a choice among our candidates. As for the times when you’re not fertile, it’s entirely up to you. You don’t have to engage in sexual activities with anyone unless you desire to. However, it’s worth noting that we have strong sexual urges and would welcome sexual encounters with you, even the female wolves, if you’re open to it. Of course, regardless of your choices, you must keep everything strictly confidential.”

“Do I have to go to a werewolf hospital to deliver?”

“No, there’s no need for that. The child will essentially be human until they reach maturity, around the age of seven or eight. The first transformation typically occurs during a full moon, which is where that myth originated. However, aside from that, the transformation can happen at any time we will it.”

“The shift happened faster than I expected.”

“The process becomes slower during the first couple of years, but we learn to change more quickly as we grow older. We’re most vulnerable during the transition, so we adapt to make it faster.”

“If I agree to this, what’s the next step?”

“The other members of the pack would like to meet you and assess you through their own senses. I can arrange a meeting for this afternoon or tomorrow morning if you’re interested. Oh, and there’s one more thing you should know. If you agree to mate with us, you’ll have two bodyguards assigned to protect you—one male and one female.”

“Why would I need bodyguards?”

“A human who has agreed to mate with a pack becomes a valuable asset. Other packs might take an interest in you and attempt to kidnap you for their own breeding purposes. It’s a common concern among all packs. This is the first time we’ve decided to offer financial compensation.”

“How would other packs know?”

“Another wolf pack would sense our scent on you.”

“What did you use to do before paying for it?”

“We would seduce a woman as humans, initiate sexual activity, and then try to persuade them to engage with us as wolves. The success rate varied greatly. Just because they enjoyed being with us as humans didn’t mean they were interested in the wolf part. We figured we’d be direct about it this time and offer a significant amount of money.”

“So, if I were to have four children, I’d be one million, eight hundred thousand dollars richer?”

“Having four pups is a long-term commitment, likely taking up six years or more of your life. You should be fairly compensated for that.”

“Can you communicate with me as a wolf?”

“We can understand you, but you won’t understand us unless you learn wolf communication. We could teach you some basic forms of communication if you’re interested. Typically, we keep someone in human form around to act as an interpreter.”

“I’d like you to change back into a wolf again, and I want to get close to you, maybe even pet you, to get a sense of what sex with a wolf would be like. Is that safe?”

“I promise you’ll be safe.”

“Alright, then. Let’s do it.”

He transformed at an astonishing speed, leaving me in awe. I carefully set the gun down and cautiously approached Rene, who stood still, showing no signs of aggression or baring his teeth.
