“Sure. Elena is my baby as well. I’ve never treated her in a bad way. I was just too busy sometimes...” Mason explained, avoiding Logan’s eyes.

“Too busy?” Logan sneered, “So you can just blame her for everything? So you can take advantage of her just for your own business?”

Mason knew Logan was right. He also knew it was his fault as well. So he just went silent.

But Emma argued, “He never did those things to her! You’d better be responsible for your words! My dad has already felt sorry now.” she wanted to continue, but got stopped by Logan’s cold stare. After all, she was still scared of him.

“Mr. Brown, think about it. Do you really love her? Do you even deserve her love?”

“Logan, why are you making it hard for me to get Elena back? She’s my daughter!”

“No, she’s mine. Only mine!” Logan interrupted him. “Maybe you should take a deeper look in your memory before you say she is your daughter.”
