Chapter 111. Kill Him

Natalie watched as Dante cut into the steak. The man ate without seeming careful. She hadn’t put any poison or anything into his food, but she wanted to gauge his level of caution against her.

“What’s wrong? Why aren’t you eating?” asked Dante casually.

“Is it good?” Natalie asked. Suddenly, Dante thrust a forkful of meat at her. She smiled and opened her mouth.

“Lizzy’s cooking never goes wrong,” she commented.

Dante smiled, and they began to eat. When they were done, they made another toast. He stood up to Natalie, and their glasses clinked together.
