Chapter 66. Flowers (2)

"I know, right? Thank you very much. I am trying to look for a bigger apartment so I will be able to do all my work in a section. Are the flowers for me?" Kira asked after she noticed what was in her hands. Evelyn shook her head and sat on Kira's bed.

"You would not believe me if I told you who gave it to me."

"Try my faith, darling." Kira responded and blew air at her painting.

"Raphael's elder brother, Vegas."

"Shoot!" Kira's eyes almost popped out.

"Did he give you 'for the sake of giving' or there is actually a motive behind it?"

"How am I supposed to know? I just don't want to get things messed up. I don't like his presence and I don't want him getting close to him as it could create a big misunderstanding at work."

"Then tell Raphael." Kira proposed her idea.

"I just can't go and tell him. It doesn't make sense since he is yet to ask me out, I can solve this within my power by staying away from him after giving him a warning."
