Chapter 7. I Don't Want to Go to School

Later in the evening, Kira dropped her godson off with the promise to catch up with him some other time. Evelyn decided to walk her through the door.

"So, how was it?" Kira asked.

"It went well. I finally found a school for him, Primus International Kids." Evelyn replied and Kira was stunned that she stopped walking for a moment.

"Seriously?" Kira questioned and Evelyn nodded.

"Yes, why do you look so dumb?"

Kira laughed and they continued walking.

"My facial expression wasn't dumb, it only screamed shock."

"Shock? Why are you shocked?" Evelyn asked with confusion.

"The school is quite expensive, Eve. Will you be able to afford it for long?" Kira asked worriedly and Evelyn smiled.

"Yes, don't worry. I have already gone through everything about the school and it is okay for his studies. I believe that I will be able to get a job very soon…a very good one. Thank you."

"You are welcome."
