I slammed her against the wall harder, lifting her up as if I needed her close enough to feel every beat of my heart against hers, lifting her until her legs wrapped around me because I wasn’t giving her a chance to walk away, not again, not now, not when she was mine and carrying a part of me inside her. “You’re mine, Anna.
