Chapter 68
“Need help with that?” I heard myself say.
I was a little disappointed when she barely spared me a glance before she responded. I wanted to catch a glimpse of her hazel eyes again.
“Duh. Don’t just stand there, help me please.”
Ah, I sighed mentally. Her voice was soft but firm with just a hint of frustration. Her fingers were trying unsuccessfully to tie her unnecessarily complicated bikini ties. Why do women do this to themselves? But she looked good though and some new wicked part of me wanted to watch her struggle. What is this new feeling in my chest anyway? I felt like teasing her so she could stay longer and talk to me but then again I felt sorry for her as the ties continued to slip from her hands so I moved forward, smiling like an idiot, and took the strings from her hands.
Tying them was easy. I have dressed Carol too many times than I care to count.
“There,” I said stepping back once it was tied and secured enough to hold without falling off
