Chapter 187. Forbidden Fruit

It was good to let Nick know how hard it was to take care of children, Veronica thought.

As Veronica yawned, Cathy reached out to her mom and pat her on the chest. "Let's sleep, mommy."

"I know, Cathy." Veronica smiled and hugged Cathy. "Let's sleep together."

After Nick washed the boys, he went to the bedroom and found that Veronica was sleeping together with Julie, Lily and Cathy. For some reason, he felt a certain kind of warmth he never felt before, but he shrugged it off.

Veronica was tired from work, after all. So, when the three boys saw their mom and their sisters sleeping together, they all decided to cuddle up against their mom. Veronica didn't mind the fact that the children started to cling to her and simply didn't move a muscle.

Nick put the three boys into the innermost part of the bed and lowered his voice. "Make sure to be quiet when you lie down, you wouldn't want to wake up mommy."
