Chapter 22. Horrible Recipe

The six kids immediately looked at Veronica. Their eyes were filled with tears, but Isabella showed no mercy. When they all got out of bed, Veronica said, "I'll boil ginger water for you. When you sweat, you'll feel much better."

"Okay."

Isabella closed the door. But like a pitiful one, Cathy went to the door. He tried to pull the doorknob open, but his height was too short so he couldn't reach it.

Isabella said, "Don't block the way. I'm going to boil ginger water with your mother."

With that, she went to work on her.

Cathy ran to Isabella who was boiling ginger water while Peter asked, "Will Mom get well with that ginger water?"

Pam asked, "Will she be all right?"

Cathy was about to cry as tears started to form in the corners of her eyes. She also asked, "Will she?"
