Elizabeth’s POV

I couldn’t stop thinking about how I felt feeding from the alpha. It was like I was renourished, and my strength and feelings for him intensified. I sighed and continued to brush my hair. I joined Aerys in the bedroom; he was already ready to go outside.

“Human breakfast?” he smiled at me, and I smiled back, nodding. We walked downstairs side by side, and we were so close that I could feel his eyes on me.

Everyone was there when we arrived in the dining room. Iris rushed to hug me, and I held her back. We all exchanged pleasantries before I took my seat next to Aerys. Even the former alpha smiled at me. Breakfast went on delightfully.
