Chapter 52. A Dear Friend

Caliana’s POV

The elder’s cars started to arrive one by one. The first one to step out was a woman with short blonde hair. She looked intimidating and wore the latest fashion brand,

“That’s elder Christina Carter, everyone calls her CC, she was the Alpha of the Grey Lycan pack in the Northern region before she retired and her son took over,” Alpha Edward whispered in my ear. I was supposed to know all this beforehand but it has been a stressful couple of days. I was grateful that he told me.

“She’s not as harsh as she looks,” He added. She stood beside her car and two people stepped out, a man and a woman in her mid twenties.

“That is her granddaughter Melody, I’m sure she brought her here in hopes of finding a prospective match in his pack,” He said

“And the male?”

“He’s irrelevant,” He simply said and I narrowed my gaze at him, he rolled his eyes

“That is her assistant,”

“Some people say he’s her lover,” Added Marcus.
