Jacob and I both jolted on the spot as Rosaline’s voice cut through. My gaze trailed to see Rosaline and Enzo standing at the doorway, both with amusement written all over their faces.

I pushed Jacob away and hastily got off the counter, straightening my top. Unable to look at them, I felt my cheeks aflame.
