Chapter 158. Emma's Incertainties

I turned to find Carla panting. She had panicked eyes as she ran towards me, taking me by the shoulders. She began to scan my body, certainly looking for new wounds to those I already have before sighing relieved not to have found any. She looked down to find boys writhing in pain then her face hardened as she saw Lens who had just resurfaced trying to get up. 

He was struggling anyway and was trying to stop the bleeding from his nose. His mouth was also bleeding and I heard him complaining that he had lost two teeth.

But the next thing I saw was Carla kicking him hard in the jaw, sending him heavily back to a wall behind.
