** You're not going out today? I heard you have a lot of business going on here so I'm surprised you take advantage of a working day to coo in my arms like that **

 I was sitting on the bed, Michael behind me as we cuddled since morning.

 "And leave my sweet girlfriend alone? Never"

 Michael looked at my finger and frowned. 

 "Did you get your ring back?"

 I smiled before answering him.

 **I never left it**

 "But the last time we saw you didn't have it anymore and I thought that since you were dating Aden you decided to get rid of it"

 The tone of Michael's voice was low, almost hoarse. It was as if his throat had knotted at the mere mention of that memory, so that day he had noticed it and certainly had been hurt.

 ** I had had a slight incident with the ring a few days earlier so the ring had to go through a goldsmith to repair the slight damage. Reason why I didn't have it that
