“What happened to you? Are you okay?” It was Leila’s voice that made him look around.

Her brows burrowed – as she looked at him with pure concern.

Then, Hunter’s face slightly turned a bit gentler. However, that doesn’t change the fact that she already saw his expression a while ago. He was caught off guard that he hadn’t noticed her and Myrtle immediately.

Hunter swallowed hard as Myrtle gave them a teasing smile – like what Elder Howard and Hector did a while back – then, she just nodded at them before she proceeded towards the mansion.

Hunter couldn’t even tell her about her grandfather because all of his attention was with Leila already.

Especially when she put her hand in his forehead – as if checking whether he was fine or not.
