“Should I go with red or amber?” Jasmine asked herself, completely torn.
As she changed the dresses with a simple flick of her fingers, trying to decide what to wear, a sharp ache suddenly shot through her head. Vivid images of a girl standing in front of a mirror, switching outfits for what looked like a party, flashed across her mind. Jesus! What the hell was that all about? she thought, waiting for her head to clear.
Looking at the red dress in front of her—which featured amber stones glittering on the left shoulder, with matching amber frills on the sleeves and the hem of the skirt—she smiled, visibly satisfied. It was exactly what she had been looking for. Snapping her fingers, she styled her hair into a loose, elegant bun, allowing a few stray strands to frame her face and fall against her back.
