Chapter 10. Quickie

— At Anderson’s mansion —

Kalex and Katherine laughter echoed around the entire backyard. They couldn’t think of other things but to have fun and appreciate the warm, perfect day with their aunt and parents.

They splashed the cold water, shouting out of happiness and excitement.

The genuine smile on their faces was caught on camera as their remembrance.

“Look this way, Kath!” Dianne shouted at top of her lungs, trying to get a perfect angle of her.

Katherine did what she said which brought a smile on her face. Dianne ran around, giggling.

Until Klaud thought of taking the camera from Dianne.

He said, “Kindly give me the camera, Dianne. I’ll take a video of you with the kids.”

Dianne nodded. She was blessed to have the sweetest brother-in-law, sometimes a father figure to him.

Without any thought, she walked toward the right corner and gave the camera to Klaud.

She said, “Thank you very much!”

“It’s my pleasure, young
