Jealous

I blinked and quickly wiped the falling tears from my eyes.

“Dude? What the—” Jeff barely finished what he was supposed to say when he saw me.

I glanced at Hannah, who was right next to him. She looks surprised too. She also looks back and forth at Rexon and me.

“Cherry!” Jeff finally came inside, so I cleared my throat and tried to paint a smile.

“We’ve been looking for you. Hannah has allegedly followed you down.” Jeff hit the elevator up to the 50th floor.

It’s too late to protest because the lift is going up again.

“How are you? Why are you here?” Jeff kept looking at me.

I glanced at Rexon for a moment, who was now talking to Hannah on the left side of the elevator.
