Fierce

Days passed, I didn’t hear a call from Rexon, so I took the time to train at Cindy’s Fashion & Style. My trainer Farrah taught me almost everything, from proper walking to projecting and how to pose in case I stumble on the stage—that is unlikely to happen.

“Apart from the gowns that you will wear, the guests will look more at the model’s face. You should look fierce, especially when you do your catwalk that everyone is waiting for. You are the main attraction of the event, so you should improve.” Farrah grabbed my two arms after we practiced the proper walking.

I nodded with a sigh. I didn’t want to disappoint Miss Cindy and Dad in his dream for me, so I followed everything she taught me.

“Perfect! Now give me your fierce look, Cherry!” Farrah shouted below the stage. I quickly posed and stood bravely in the middle of the stage.

“Bravo! You did a great job!” She applauded
