Chapter 66

I quickly measure out the rice and wash it, then strain it and put it in the rice cooker, along with enough water. 

Then I closed the rice cooker, pressed the cooking button on the rice cooker, and waited for the rice to cook.

While waiting for the rice, I took a photo of my cooking and shared it on my WeChat moment, celebrating my success in trying out new recipes today.

After sharing my photos on WeChat, I brought the results of my cooking, which were still in the kitchen, to the dining room and put them on the dining table, along with the cutlery.

Then I took a glass of warm water and put it on the table. My eyes then turned to the window in my room, and I realized the curtains still covered it. 

I shook my head, remembering my foolishness for forgetting to open the blinds when I got to the house earlier. 

So I opened them and then walked to the window of the room and opened them. The sunlight immediately moved to fill the entire room,
