Chapter 13. Harvey's Warnings
When the afternoon came, while Harvey and Samson were reading books on the porch, Maris and Aurora went out to the yard to build snowmen.
After half an hour, the snowman was bigger than Aurora was completed.
Lucasta sat next to Samson, but her eyes and mood flew out into the yard.
She wanted to play with the two girls playing in the snow, but her brother did not allow her to go out because he was afraid that she would catch a cold and would make her illness worse.
"Brother, I want to go out into the yard to play." She slid down the chair and hugged his leg, begging.
"You can't. If you catch a cold again, your lungs will become severely inflamed."
"I'll just go out for a bit and then run into the house. I want to make a snowman." She shed tears.
Lucasta's round, expectant eyes made Samson's heart melt.
These days, he always locked her in the castle and didn't let her set foot in the yard, so she probably felt cramped and frustrated.
