Christine’s POV

A day ago.

“I will just reschedule my appointment to the second week of December. I will be back.”

“No, no. I will drive. Tell the driver that I need to drive there alone.”

“Yes, thank you.”

I hung up the phone and put it back in my bag. I lifted my head and stared at the window.

I just got here in London a few hours ago and my driver had to pick me up at my apartment. I came here because Carlo just called me a few hours ago and he told me that our shipments went missing and I had to come to check it up.

I went to London because the shipments should arrive on time and will stay for a few weeks here or more until I solve the problem. I was about to plan to stay in New York to help my husband and my son with their problem with Ivankov but I couldn’t leave my own problem here because of them. I know that Bob and Daniel can handle their situation without me. That’s why I decided to leave for my duties.
