Jennifer’s POV

I immediately grabbed my phone and checked all the security cameras and I clicked into the kitchen room. Once I opened it, I saw there was a man who was looking for something and made his or her way into the living room. I clicked the camera onto the living room and saw his figure again.

Now, I’m hoping that he or she won’t decide to go to the hallway.

I felt my heart beating faster while I was thinking about what would happen to me if ever that person found me.

After a while, I heard footsteps somewhere outside in the hallway. My heart beat even faster. I quickly clicked onto the camera and saw the figure of a man in the hallways walking while holding our kitchen knife.

My eyes widened and called Bob immediately before he went to our bedroom.

I quickly dialed his phone number and waited for him to pick it up. “Hey, love. Why did you call?” He said.
