“No, I am not,” I said I was trying to stop him from thinking that I was going to take it against Xander or his beta. “I am thankful that he had someone he was comfortable talking with. I’m sure Limuel will put some sense into him.”
“That’s what I believe too, Luna," he agreed, and he continued driving.
Despite the worry that clung to me, I knew I had to focus on the task at hand. The squad needed guidance, and the alliance between the packs relied on our collective strength.
