Chapter 39. Mine Alone

Emma’s POV

As the call ended, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I was shaken by his threats, but the swift and fierce response from them made me feel protected and safe.

Bennett, Hunter, and Parker immediately surrounded me, their faces etched with concern. Bennett pulled her into a warm embrace, holding me close as he whispered, “You’re safe now, Emma. We’ve got you.”

Hunter stroked my hair, his touch gentle and soothing. “No one will ever hurt you again, Emma. We promise.”

Parker’s eyes burned with intensity as he added, “You’re ours now, Emma. We’ll defend you with our lives.”

I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at them closely. I knew they meant every word, and their protection enveloped me like a shield.

Tears of gratitude pricked at the corners of my eyes as I hugged Bennett tightly. “Thank you,” I whispered. “I feel so safe with you all.”

Hunter and Parker joined in, wrapping their arms around me in a group hug. The
