With the first threads of the early morning, and even before the sun appeared, Rima was standing in the kitchen preparing breakfast and placing it on the table. Manar got up first and went to the kitchen, but she stood halfway near the table and then rubbed her eyes while saying

“Did Iman wake up? No, I saw her sleeping. It is unbelievable. My little Rima, what are you doing? What is this activity?”

Rima said, “You are lazy today, and I am about to set off so I can arrive before the time for little Sondos to wake up and prepare for school.”

Manar said, “You did not tell us what happened yesterday.”

Rima said, “I will come back early today, God willing, and tell everything.”

“It’s still very early,” Iman said.

Rima said, “No, the distance from here to there is long.”

Iman said, “Wait, call Adam or Zakaria so he can connect you.”
