On the weekend afternoon, the thunder suddenly tore apart the vigorous sky. Kitten, who was sitting next to the TV, jumped up and threw himself in Elly's body.

"I was scared."

"How timid." Alex looked down at the material in his hand, and looked up at his son clinging to Elly's body, and said jealously.

Elly stroke Kitten's back, her eyes stared at Alex with displeasure. The kid was just three years old.

Alex was even more dismissive. "I slept alone when I was two years old and was not afraid of thunder."

Her mouth twitched and despised him. "Is there a father who belittles his children as you do?"

Alex struggled with her for a few seconds, he raised his nose, and bent down and continued to read the papers. His lips curve into a smile where no one saw it.

"Don't be afraid, your aunt and father are here. Lightning won't hurt you." Elly patted the baby's head.
