Chapter 177. John Is Dead!

Like a deaf peson, Elly can't hear anything. When her hand was about to touch John's still body, he held her hand. He grabbed her by the chin, forced her to look at his face, and shook his head to try to convince her.

"If we touch him, it may worsen. I already called an ambulance. They are coming soon."

Elly looked at the face of her friend, his eyes are no longer open, watched the pool of blood on the ground, distressed that he was out of breath.

Her hand was tightly wrapped on him until the ambulance arrived. She doesn't remember how she got to the hospital and stood outside the emergency operating room waiting.

The emergency room was brightly lit, and after a while the door of the operating room finally opened. Elly staggered up to meet the doctor.

"How's my friend? Is he all right? May I visit him?"

"Relax mam, Please." The doctor calmed the patient's family before announcing with a heavy voice seemed to carry a sedative.

"We have
