Chapter 83

Emily covered her face with both hands, she looked stressed because of Tia's actions just now. Emily felt guilty again because she had left her mother alone in Leesburg.

“What am I suppossed to do? Everything is suck," complained Emily.

Emily took another deep breath, letting out all the anxiety in her heart. Emily stood up again to finish the dough she had been preparing earlier. Emily seemed so excited until Adrian came home and crushed any enthusiasm she had.

Knock... Knock...

“Emily?! Where are you?! Quickly open this damn door!” Adrian shouted from the front door of their house.

Emily stopped what she was doing and immediately ran in a hurry.

"Yes, I'm coming," said Emily as she ran.

Emily opened the door and saw Adrian already standing with an annoyed face, even though it had been less than a minute since Adrian had shouted earlier.
