Chapter 6

Priya’s POV

I changed into my night suit and sat down on the couch with my laptop, as on Monday I had to go to college and had to finish an assignment. Moreover, I didn’t want Rahul to sleep on the couch again. I will take the couch instead, as it was a bit small for his size. He is 6 feet two inches tall and had a moderately muscular body. It was not comfortable for him but I could sleep on it easily.

I was working on the assignment when he entered the room. He came towards me and before he could say anything I blurted, “I am sorry for what happened downstairs. I swear I didn’t do it purposely. Rohit was teasing me and I told him to stop. But he kept on doing that. I was trying to kill… I am s-sorry…”

“No, it is ok, he is an idiot…”

After a pause, he ran his fingers in his hair and said, “Priya, I am sorry too, I thought it was… I shouted at you too. Please forgive me.”

“Please don’t say that, I understand. It is not your fault, aunty
