"Um, Richard, nice to meet you. I have to go now!" said Becky, shaking Richard's hand awkwardly.

"Let's go this way!" said Michael West, leading James and Becky to his office. "Bye!" said Richard, smiling warmly before Becky disappeared from the hallway.

"What? You like him?" muttered James coldly.

"Haha, so funny!" replied Becky with a sarcastic tone.

"Remember you are someone's future wife, don't flirt with other men or..."

"Or what?" she challenged him.

"Or you'll get the consequences," hissed James in a serious tone that made Becky shudder in horror, remembering the torture she once got from him.

While Becky was busy with her thoughts, James suddenly pulled her hand away.

"Are you going to keep thinking about that guy, or are you going to focus on settling my life back?" he whispered in her ear.
