Chapter 60. Next Step

The Dom holds me by the arm and pulls me out of the water. The abundance of air hits my lungs and a feeling of euphoria takes over. He helps me out of the bathtub and I see someone standing behind me from the corner of my eyes, holding a blanket. My body shivers with cold water and a strange rush of energy and dizziness makes itself known.

It’s jarring. This feeling is like the release we feel during sex.

I am trying to process so much while a thick towel wraps around my body. Dom takes a seat and pulls me onto his lap.

“You did good,” he murmurs while someone dabs my hair. I turn my head and see a sub. She smiles at me. I sigh and lean into Dom’s chest. What was his name again? Lucas?

I giggle and he asks in amusement, “May I know what’s so funny?”

“It feels nice being pampered after a session,” I tell him. My body is so freaking cold. But there is a strange sense of happiness looming over my head. I feel like I am high on drugs.
