That confession certainly wasn’t necessary. His eyes went wide with shock and then his expression changed to one I couldn’t quite grasp.

“I have told you before, Eliana, I cannot love you! I cannot love…” He said the words with so much force and finally, disgust.

Tears welled up in my eyes, I just couldn’t stop myself from reacting to his obvious disgust.

“The idea of loving me disgusts you so much?”

“It’s not like that, Eliana…”

“It’s not? Then tell me, what is it like?” I sniffed, taking deep breaths to hold my tears off. “You can kiss me, fuck me and do all these intimate things with me but somehow, loving me is disgusting?”

Not wanting to hear anything else, anything that might make me break down in front of him, I got off the bed, wiping off my tears.
