Chapter 6. The Shocking Revelation

At the office, I was going through the details of my presentation, and putting everything together when I received an SMS from Robert through the company’s private line, informing me to schedule all his meetings and visits till after the presentation later that evening.

I took note of that, and just then saw Scarlett making her way past me like a proud peacock to his office. As much as I didn’t want to admit, she looked radiant in her professionally done makeup but her gown was way too skimpy and seductive to be worn in a workplace such as this.

Quickly, I left what I was doing to stop her from going in.

“Miss Scarlett you can’t go in now. Come back later in the evening. Mr. Robert is busy.”
