I was dumbstruck, not able to believe what I heard, and not able to process the truth... I was out of words to say anything, not able to understand how I should react... My Alice is no more... She died and that too because we rejected them… I felt like the ground slipped under my feet and a tear rolled down from my eyes. 

"Alice" I mumbled... I rejected her, that's why I didn't feel any pain of losing her at that time but right now, after hearing Alice's death news, I'm feeling the pain of heartache.

"Aaron... Our baby" I came out of my thoughts when Aana called me. I looked at her, she was breathing heavily and her whole face turned red, making me realise the situation... I pulled her closer to me, passively... afraid to lose her despite knowing she is not mine...

"Please save our baby... I'm losing blood" she cried looking at her foot injury, shivering badly... I cursed myself mentally for engrossing myself in the pain of losing thin
