Clara didn’t say a word.

Wasn’t this his decision anyway? He didn’t even ask her before agreeing on her behalf.

But looking over at Aiden, sitting in his little chair with that innocent look on his face, she couldn’t bring herself to turn him down. She just couldn’t.

The estate was huge anyway, so crashing there for the night with Ethan wasn’t a big deal.

It’s not like they’d be sleeping in the same room or anything.

Food came out pretty quick. Not long after they sat down, the dishes started arriving one after another.

Ethan was definitely loaded—he ordered over twenty dishes for just the three of them.

Luckily, there were a few things Aiden liked.

The little guy sat cheerfully in his high chair, munching away, legs swinging in rhythm like he was having the time of his life.

Once he finished, he wiped his mouth and said matter-of-factly that he wanted to eat with Uncle Ethan again next time.

Clara let out a helpless laugh.
