Chapter 29

"Always a step ahead of me dammit", Trevor growled when he entered the hospital ward, only to find Tigreal sitting gently like a cool guy beside Christine's patient's bed.

    "You don't know how much I tried hard to be here before anyone else?. I woke up at 4am just so I could get here on time!".

Tigreal's head turned around slightly and he grinned widely, making him resemble a clown mocking a chum. 

  "Of course you went home yesterday to be here early today, but he didn't. He stood by me all night ", Christine replied in a stern tone where she lay on the hospital bed. Her eyes were closed as if they had been crying while her lips curled into an angry grimace that made her look like someone who was ready for war with her enemies.

   "Of course she's right. My man stood by her all night with his eyes widely opened and lingering all around the room without sleeping even once! How can one not love such dedication?", said Freya out
