I watched, helpless and breathless, as Alison’s form began to change. Her bones cracked, reshaped, and her body contorted in ways I could never have imagined. Her skin rippled as silver-white fur began to sprout across her limbs, and the ground shook with the force of it.
My heart raced as the walls of the room trembled. The entire building seemed to groan under the weight of her transformation.
And then, it happened.
A blinding light burst from her body, filling the entire throne room, and before my eyes, she shifted.
I could barely breathe, my chest tightening as I took in the sight of her. A magnificent, silver-white wolf stood where Alison had been just moments before, her eyes glowing with an intensity that could rival the moon itself. The sheer power radiating from her was enough to bring me to my knees.
