   ''Leave before I do what you and I will live to regret.'' she muttered those words as a threat, but I ignored her words and tried to move closer to her, only to see her pick up a knife I never knew was on the table and pointed it at me. 

  ''Leave.'' she yelled at the top of her voice, while I noticed tears falling down her cheek. 

  Seeing her in such a state, I took a step backward with my gaze fixed on her.
