I rested in the military camp for a few days before I disembarked to return to the palace, still having an injury. I have summoned all the best palace doctors and even from the pack doctors from the other packs to heal me. But to no avail, no one could concoct an antidote that could heal me.

While I was staying there, I realized something.

This was the fault of Commander Cornelius. If only he reported to me, this wouldn't have happened and Rachelle would be kidnapped. If only he should have reported first, Rachelle would have stayed in the palace until she had given it to our first pup.
