Chapter 109. Alex Proposing to Clara

"No words. Just enjoy" Alex gently wrapped his arms around her shoulders and got her to the table which he designed with so much love.

All the while, Clara was numb. She didn't enjoy his little touch or his words as her whole concentration was on that message. How can someone be so cruel?

She checked the bag and found the papers too. This guy is even near her. She felt so scared to even think about the possibilities of what he might do. 

She looked at the glass frame with their combo name. 'Alexara'. A small dry chuckle escaped her lips. She realized how cursed her life is. Till now she was not fated to have happiness. And now her whole life can be filled with happiness and she couldn't choose it. 

"I never thought that I could do something like this for anyone." Alex's voice broke her monologue.

"Even for Rose, I asked you back then why to bake that cake as we can buy them anytime." Alex chuckled recalling a particular moment.
